It’s not a big secret that DMOZ is corrupted so, why not start own open directory project? good part is that it comes with search engine, better part is that it has own crawler/spider and best part is that Astanda is FREE!

Astanda is php+mysql based script and really feature-reach, but most of all I like its admin panel, from there, you can change almost anything from crawler to directory settings.

So, how can you actually use it? well, you can create niche search engine, create free and high PR directory, or simply own web-site search engine.

I wanted to personally say thank you for joining the ADP support forum. I hope we can get some sense of order fairly soon and get back to a productive environment but it may take some time.

Pavel has been taking care of personal things as of late, and I am not sure when he will be back to work on ADP2, or if he has even stopped working on it for that fact. It is too hard to tell as he has not had much internet access while he takes care of things, so my communication with him has been almost as limited as most of you.

I will tell you that I have seen an early version of ADP2 user / administration sides and it looks great. That is all I can say though, and I would appreciate if you, the users, would not ask about an ETA for ADP2 as I have no idea, and we will not know until Pavel lets us know. (HINT: Do not create new topics asking when ADP2 will be done, they will be locked.)

As a side note, I have also been personally busy so my input in the forum as of late has been minimal. I will try and help out where I can, but it will take time.
