I will deploy it, so you dont have to

We have seen lots of clones, but this one is completly… lets say unusuall, why? well its COMPLETE clone of infamous Twitter.com which allows you to answer one simple question: What are you doing right now? and micro-blog about it.
The point is that your friends will know what and where are you doing, ReVou itself comes with Developer API just like twitter, so you can further expand it, even SMS service is built in and accepts Clickatell as SMS gateway provider.
Also mentionable featureas are Messenger support and contacts mporter.
Currently its priced $399 yep, its pricey! original price was $499 however.
For full feature list go to http://www.revou.com

Update: I have just learned that this script is actually being “developed” by AlstraSoft this company was previously accused in idea theft, bad support and buggy scripts, so be awared!

Its been long wait, but second release candidate of 6 line is here! you can download it here: http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/drupal-6.0-rc2.tar.gz
There are still known issues, that being solved rigt now but before that:
we have fixed various issues including the security fixes that come with Drupal 5.6 and others involving caching filtered content, menu item inheritance, missing breadcrumbs, better error reporting in the installer and updates, some translatability issues and lots of code style cleanups, and other small fixes.
The most notable usability improvement since Drupal 6.0 RC1 is that the files directory is now automatically created in sites/default.
Developers promise to release Drupal 6 asap ![]()
It is strongly recomended that you update your site right now! There are no new features in these installments only bugfixes.
Drupal 4.7.11 and 5.6 are now available for download. These are maintenance releases that fix problems reported using the bug tracking system, as well as security vulnerabilities.
Upgrading your existing Drupal sites is strongly recommended.

Good news everyone
infamous Invision power board just got updated, at the same time, another product from invision IP.Downloads Manager got upgrade up to 1.2.0
While IP.Board got only maintenance only release, IP.Downloads Manager got some new features, some of them are:
please note that it was also converted to a component from a module, and acts like fully-featured one-click file hosting to me
as of IPB 2.3.4 it got tons of bugfixes, you can see whole story here: http://forums.invisionpower.com/index.php?showtopic=268367

Good Luck ![]()

We recently discussed open-source, web 2.0 eCommerce software (Script) “Magento” - Its still beta and got updated today.
New version is 0.7.14800 and now includes new kind of installer and automated package upgrades, what does it mean?
When you download and unpack the installer package on your server, the installer wizard downloads and installs the latest available Magento Packages directly to your server. Since the installer has a smaller file size, you don’t have to upload every file to your server - it only contains the bootstrap files (the files necessary to run the installer itself, and basic configuration for Magento).
even already installed Magento shop can now be updated with one click from the admin panel. From now on you can go to: System -> Extensions -> Remote screen and view there installed and available packages, also from there you can check for upgrades.

Now lets talk about new features and (more…)

Yep, just like rapidshare.com . Amazing script named XtraFile (a.k.a. XtraUpload) allows users to select file, and upload it with progress bar (flash or ajax) after upload is finished it will display download/delete links so you can share your file with friends.
From admin panel, you control almost everything, you can set and sell premium user packages, limit free packages etc.
Last stable build is 1.5.6 - http://www.xtrafile.com/download.html
But after development of more then 7 months, Xtrafile founders made script opensource, moved to Smarty template engine and fixed bugs, its still nigtly build (and its better not to use on production servers) you can grab it here: http://xtrafile.com/svn/nightly.zip
Full source is here: http://code.google.com/p/xtraupload/
The easiest, award-winning cms has just been updated! If you are new to scripts and CMS you should really try e107 its very intuitive, easy and yeah - its free!
Speaking about new release, developers said that this is probably last release from the 0.7 branch. Although users been complaining about e107 releases being nothing but bugfixes or security releases, this is as well bugfix release BUT! this release makes e107 completly or 99% bug free and it is really solid release.
When new 0.8 version will be available? Nobody knows, not even developers:
So, when will 0.8 be out? Good question and we have no answer. There’s a lot of new code there, but not really any new features there yet either. However, with not having to worry about the 0.7 branch anymore, we can now devote our full efforts on 0.8.
as you can see there is no “new features” promise in that statement as well… unfortunately…
What is pligg you might ask… well… it’s a digg.com clone… no wait, it really is, but you can use it as cms as well…
What is new?
After all, you can understand that this is best release of Pligg yet, So GET IT and start producing niche digg.com clones.
WordPress-ians are calling for immediate attention, today they fixed bugs that could:
I do not know who can ever use those bugs to do some bad things with our blogs, but well - it’s better to update your blog up to 2.3.2.
There is some bonus as well, now we can set a custom DB error page, for that we should place our custom template at wp-content/db-error.php and if WordPress has a problem connecting to blog’s database, this page will displayed rather than the default error message - neat ha?
